Is WooPOS good for me? Will WooPOS fit my business?

If you are looking for a simple basic POS for startup, you can just find a free plugin or a simple web app. But if you are serious about your business, you care about performance, reliability, customization, scalability and business growth, WooPOS is a perfect fit.

What is a user?

A user is a person has login activities in the calendar month. If you have more than one computer per user, extra computers will be counted as users. For example, you have 3 users and 5 computers, you will be billed as 5 users.

Are there long-term contracts?

No, we don’t force you into any long-term contracts. Our price is available as a monthly subscription. You can cancel any time.

Can I pay annually or a lump sum instead of monthly?

Our automated billing system does not support annual payment. If you want to do a one-time payment, the price will be $1000 per user, valid for 10 years. Our statistics show that 90% of our clients will stay with us for over 3 years.

Do you charge installation fee, cancellation fee, or any hidden fee?

No. None of these. We only charge a monthly fee. But custom developing may be extra.

When will I get first bill? Which payment methods do you accept?

You will get a bill from FreshBooks on the first day of each calendar month. We accept online payments through Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal.

What's difference between free version and pro version? How to upgrade or downgrade?

There is no difference between the free version and pro version as for the features. You will be automatically upgraded to pro version get the bill if the free version limits are reached. You cannot downgrade to free version once you are on the pro version.

Are the free version limits per month or per year?

Neither per month nor per year. Once you reached the limits any time, you will be upgraded to pro version automatically and get the bill next month.

Can I get bulk discount?

If you have 10 employees or more, please contact us for bulk pricing.

I really like WooPOS. But I cannot afford the monthly fee. What should I do?

If you are a techie and you can solve most problems yourselves or on the knowledge base or community forums, you can contact us for a discount.

I own a seasonal business. Can I cancel my subscription but still keep my data?

You sure can. You can back up the database and keep yourselves. WooPOS offers a restoration service for US$50 before you next season starts.

Is WooPOS compatible with my existing hardware?

WooPOS is compatible with any hardware works with Windows. Please check Recommended Computer Specifications for Running WooPOS

Can I use WooPOS WooCommerce free plugins without using WooPOS desktop app?

Sure you can. WooPOS plugins are free, can be used with or without WooPOS desktop app.

Do I need to purchase Microsoft SQL Server license?

No. WooPOS uses the free version of SQL Express as your local database server. WooPOS has a free built-in synchronization engine as an alternative to SQL replication.
